Darlene Albert Knott and Mark Knott Scholarship

  • Scholarship for an incoming freshman or an incoming transfer student who is a graduate of Mulberry Grove High School in Mulberry Grove, Illinois.
  • If there is no qualified recipient from Mulberry Grove High School, then the recipient(s) must have graduated from a high school in, be a resident of, or attend a community college in one of the following counties in Illinois: Bond, Fayette, Clinton, Washington, Montgomery, Macoupin, or Effingham.
  • Recipient(s) must have a cumulative high school GPA or a transfer GPA of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
  • The recipient(s) must demonstrate financial need.
  • The recipient(s) must write a one-page paper discussing why they should be selected to receive this scholarship.
  • The recipient(s) must provide two written recommendations from high school teachers or community college faculty.
  • If the recipient(s) maintains a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, this scholarship shall be available for four years of their undergraduate program, but no longer than four years.
