R. Eugene Jackson Scholarship

The scholarship recipient(s) must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate Theater or Musical Theater student. The recipient(s) must demonstrate promise, dedication, and enthusiasm for theater. The selection committee wilI measure this criteria through an audition or review of the applicant’s past involvement in theater. The recipient(s) must demonstrate successful academic performance by having at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or the equivalent of a grade of B over the last two complete semesters of high school, community college and/or Southern Illinois University.

The Jackson Scholarship is a one-year scholarship but qualified student recipients may reapply as long as they remain enrolled in Theater or Musical Theater and meet the selection criteria.
