The Perseverance Scholarship Endowment was established to provide financial support to a student who has demonstrated the power of perseverance to overcome adverse circumstance to achieve a college degree. Adverse circumstances may include overcoming barriers due to personal or family involvement with the criminal justice system, lack of parental involvement, and/or growing up in an economically depressed community with economic challenges and limited opportunities.
