Anne W. Lindsey

Anne was a professional freelance writer and was the author of both short and book length fiction and articles published in more than 140 top magazine in the United States, France, England, Canada, Denmark and Australia. She was the author of television plays on major networks and former newspaper reporter, feature writer, columnist for many Midwestern and Eastern newspapers.

Annie graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and attended the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. She taught at Marion Community High School and later taught professional writing at SIU Carbondale. She was a lecturer at various U.S. colleges and universities and a national lecturer and staff member for American writers’ conferences. She was also a national writing aide for hospitalized veterans.
