Chad A. Rubin, MD (Deceased) and Michael Sandlin

This fund was established by Chad A. Rubin, M.D., FACS in appreciation for the education that he received at SIU. Very few universities provided a degree in microbiology and it provides a great avenue into medicine, research, pharmacology, and beyond. A degree is very expensive and the struggle is real. This endowment is established for a worthy student to pursue their goal of a degree in Microbiology. It requires a certain level of commitment; one must keep an average of 3.0 or better. It is designed to help with the study of microbiology which is a ubiquitous field and touches lives daily.
