The children of Carl and Freeda Britton cherish the selfless sacrifice made by their parents so that they could attend SIU, a University which they believe challenged them and gave them the opportunity to reach the potential given to them by loving parents. And it is in this spirit that the children of Carl O. and Freeda M. Britton create this endowment at their alma mater which honors their parents.
