Dorothy E. Holmes, Ph.D.

Dorothy Holmes M.A. ‘66, Ph.D.’68 was named by the SIU Alumni Association as a distinguished alumna in 2010. Dr. Holmes was the founding director of the Clinical Psychology Internship program at Howard University, the first American Psychological Association-accredited internship at a historically black university. Her accomplishments include publishing more than 30 articles, book chapters and book reviews, and serving on the editorial boards of four scholarly journals.
