Dr. John E. Gunter

This fund is being established by SIU alumnus, Dr. John E. Gunter, to provide financial assistance to worthy junior and senior Forestry students. Dr. Gunter’s intention is to give back, in part, to the Department of Forestry, the College of Agricultural Sciences, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale for the education that he received, the career opportunities that such education opened up, and the alumni achievement awards bestowed by the institution.
