Illinois Soybean Association

The soybean research program at SIUC has contributed significantly to the improvement of soybean growers’ profitability through the development of new varieties and germplasm releases with improved resistance to two major diseases, SCN and SDS. In 1997, SIUC established a unique, interdisciplinary center to enhance soybean production and utilization by increasing scientific knowledge about the soybean.
