Lita Hindman Luebbers

Lita Luebbers graduated from Anna (lL) High School in 1916 and completed her teaching certification at Southern Illinois (Normal) University in 1918. She taught home economics, Latin, and history for many years. As part of her legacy, she established the Lita H. Luebbers Scholarship Fund to recruit and support talented teacher education majors at SIU Carbondale.
