Mr. Kenneth D. Harre

Dr. Edward J. Schmidlein, Jr. was respected and known by many people when he taught accountancy at SIUC. Professor Schmidlein joined the School of Accountancy faculty in 1959. During his tenure at SIUC, Dr. Schmidlein was instrumental in the development of nearly 2,000 Accounting graduates of SIUC. Professor Schmidlein characterized his teaching method as one of setting a good example in enthusiasm for the subject and being prepared for class.
