Mr. Thomas L. Hanson

Thomas L. Hanson was a 1971 Political Science graduate of SIU Carbondale. He dropped out of high school and returned after serving in the U.S. Air Force and completing his GED.

Thomas was born in Chicago, IL, the son of LeRoy and Barbara (Trager) Hansen. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. For most of his life Thomas was an independent salesman in machinery. He had also worked as a cab driver, police officer and security guard at the Chicago Playboy Mansion. He moved to Sabula after his retirement. Thomas was an avid golfer and history buff. He enjoyed a good cigar and bottle of wine.
