Mrs. Becky Moody

The John E. Moody Scholarship was established by Mr. Moody, an SIU Carbondale alum, to support students majoring in agribusiness economics and plant and soil science. John Moody served as President of the SIU Foundation Board of Directors from 1996 to 1999 and was honored with the first ever “President Emeritus” of the Board. He also received the Foundation’s Medal of Distinction for his tireless service to the University and the SIU Foundation. Additionally, SIU recognized John with a Distinguished Alumnus award in 2001.
