Mrs. Jane M. Becker and the late Ralph Becker

Mr. Ralph Becker has said that Carbondale and SIU have played a significant role in the lives of his family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Jane Becker were graduate students together at SIU after getting married in 1959 and Mr. Becker’s mother, two cousins and one uncle were also students at the original Southern Illinois Normal University.
