Ms. Janet L. Ramsey and Ms. Jill D. Grammer

Ms. Janet L. Ramsey and Ms. Jill D. Grammer would like to honor the memory of Myra June Webb Throgmorton. Myra June Webb Throgmorton was born October 22, 1926, on a farm in southern Illinois about 45 miles from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC). Being the oldest of Ray and Golda Webb’s nine children, she became a teacher, a mentor, a caretaker, and admired sister. Early in her life, she learned the value of education. She loved to read because books and education gave her exposure to the outside world.
