Richard and Jennifer Brunner

Richard Brunner earned his degree in administration of justice in 1987 from Southern Illinois University. In 1986 and 1987 he was employed as a Saluki Patrol Officer. Upon graduating, he worked at the Carbondale Police department and retired as a sergeant after 28 years. Both he and his wife Jennifer understand the importance of education combined with real world experiences while attending college. This fund was established to encourage young men and women hoping to enter the field of criminal justice.
