Ronald E. Gholson, Ph.D.

The Rex and Mary Ann Gholson Scholarship Endowment was established by Ronald E. Gholson, Ph.D. to honor his parents for their life-long belief in the importance and value of formal education. They were born in or near Broughton in southern Hamilton County, Illinois in 1911 and 1917 respectively. With the exception of some few years, their lives were spent in and close to the Southern Illinois counties of Hamilton, Saline, Gallatin and White. They were the parents of four children.
