The late Dr. Thomas B. and Mrs. C. Carolyn Jefferson

Dr. Jefferson is an emeritus faculty member of SIU and was a professor in the College of Engineering for many years, serving as the Dean of the College from 1969 to 1978. He is a very proud supporter of the University as a whole. He established the scholarship after his retirement to exhibit his continuing support for the engineering students at Southern Illinois University.
