Wendell and Ruth Hahn

Steven Hahn’s memory is honored by his parents, Wendell and Ruth Hahn of Springfield, IL. Steven, a 1977 graduate of SIUC’s College of Mass Communication and Media Arts, died suddenly on August 30, 1987. He was 32 years old and left a widow and 3 sons. In addition to being a dedicated journalist specializing in environmental and political issues, Steven was an Eagle scout, scout master, skilled outdoorsman, and an accomplished trumpet player.
