Carl W. Lutes Outstanding Instrumentalist Award

Student must be an instrumentalist undergraduate with at least junior status, enrolled full-time and majoring in Music, and in good standing with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Seniors and native Southern Illinoisans will be given preference, but may be awarded to a junior if no senior qualifies. This award may be given to a non-SI native provided no students meet the aforementioned criteria. Consideration will also be given to students demonstrating financial need.
