  • The Camelle Wilson Logan and Sonia Veronica Phelix Emergency Endowment shall be used to support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) oriented student retention efforts.
  • Recipients must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the SIU Financial Aid Office, and be in good academic standing.
  • Preference shall be given to applicants who submit a short statement (250 words or less) describing their need for emergency scholarship funding.
