American Association of University Women (AAUW) Lelia Marvin Undergraduate Scholarship

Awarded to an outstanding female student from John A. Logan College who is completing an associate degree and will be enrolling in SIUC in Fall 2023. Preference for this award will be given to students from the local area.

To apply, students must submit:
1) A letter, which includes information on their current and planned enrollment status, their major, scholastic and community achievements, their financial status relating to attending school, their connection to the local area, their Dawg Tag number, three contact references, and a statement of professional goals,
2) a current resume, and
3) most recent transcript

All materials should be emailed to Dr. Martha Ellert, AAUW Scholarship Committee, msellert@aol.com, no later than February 28, 2023.

Winners will be announced at the Celebrate Women event (date TBA) and will be guests of AAUW at the May 9 dinner and fellowship event.
