Edgar O. & Bonnie Zimmer Law Scholarship

Annual scholarship payable to a 3L in the School of Law who has indicated an intention of becoming a part of the community life of Southern Illinois. Southern Illinois means the Illinois counties of Monroe, Randolph, Perry, Hamilton, Franklin, White, and all counties south, except the county of Jackson. The recipient shall be chosen according to the following guidelines:
a. Scholastic achievement need not be the sole criterion, but grades shall be satisfactory.
b. Need shall not be a necessary criterion, but other financial assistance available to applicant shall be considered.
c. The needs of the community in which the applicant contemplates to locate should also be considered.
d. Applicant must be of good moral character with the potential of becoming an active participant in the affairs of the community. potential of becoming an active participant in the affairs of the community.
