The Arthur and Sammye Aikman Educational Council of 100 Scholarship (DSS)

Student with Disabilities Scholarship –
a) Shall be given to a student who is disabled as established by the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Service (IDORS).
b) Resides in one of the 33 southern counties of Illinois served by the Educational Council of 100 (Alexander, Clay, Clinton, Crawford, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Massac, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Richland, St. Clair, Saline, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, and Williamson)
c) At a minimum, has completed two semesters of course work with a GPA of 3.0 and, at a maximum, who is in a graduate program.
d) Has a financial need as established by IDORS.

Preference given to those students who are U.S. citizens.
