Barbara Brown Memorial Scholarship

  • Scholarship for a continuing or incoming student, in good standing, who intends to be enrolled at SIU the following semester unless graduating.
  • The recipient shall articulate or demonstrate an interest in using their education in furtherance of public service or the public good as determined by those making the selection.
  • Preference will be given to a student with a high school diploma from an accredited school in the following Illinois counties: Alexander, Bond, Calhoun, Clark, Clay, Clinton, Crawford, Cumberland, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jersey, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Massac, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Richland, Saint Clair, Saline, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, and Williamson.
