SIU Women's Club Dorothy Morris Traditional Student Scholarship
One scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate female student each year.
Eligible applicants must be an on-campus student at SIU, be classified as a junior or senior and have at least a 3.0 (A=4.0) cumulative GPA.
Preference will be given to those who have completed a minimum of 86 credit hours by the end of the spring semester.
A minimum of 24 credits must have been earned at SIU.
A traditional student is one whose college education commences within a few years of high school graduation.
Selection is based on academic achievement, career goals and aspirations, leadership experience, references, and financial need. Students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and must complete at least one semester during the following academic year to receive the award.
For consideration, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation along with their required essay. Please note that references must be submitted by the application deadline.
