Braden K. Jones Scholarship

Dr. Braden K. Jones is a graduate of SIU Carbondale and the SIU School of Medicine. While an undergraduate, he played football under Coach Jerry Kill, receiving All-American (2006) and Academic All-American honors as a tight end.

Upon completion of his football career at SIU, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings. After two years of professional football, he attended medical school and graduated with an M.D. degree in 2013. Following residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Florida, he entered private practice with Orthopedic Associates in Evansville, Indiana in 2018.
