Criteria
To be considered for the Stuart Piltch Scholarship for entrepreneurs, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Entrepreneurial Pursuit: You must be a current college or university student who is actively pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors or a high school student with plans to attend university for entrepreneurship-related studies.
Academic Excellence: We value strong academic performance and are looking for students who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence in their studies.
Passion for Entrepreneurship: You should possess a deep passion for entrepreneurship and a genuine desire to make a positive impact through innovative ideas and ventures.
Dedication to Personal Growth: We seek individuals who have a strong drive for personal and professional growth, continuously seeking opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship.
Essay Requirement: As part of the application process, you will need to submit a thoughtful essay of under 1000 words in response to the following prompt:
“Discuss the importance of a customer-first focus in entrepreneurship. Describe how prioritizing the needs and wants of customers can contribute to the success of a venture and provide examples of entrepreneurs who have excelled in this area.”

Problem-Solving Skills: We are interested in applicants who demonstrate creative and strategic problem-solving skills, showcasing an ability to identify and address challenges and opportunities in the entrepreneurial landscape.
