Dr. Richard M. Uray Broadcasting Scholarship

Founded in 1999, the Dr. Richard M. Uray Broadcasting Scholarship was created to support graduate students in the College of Arts & Media with preference given but not limited to a major in Broadcasting, who might also need financial support or who is preparing for a professional career in Broadcasting. Over the years, due to evolutions in the field of media and the structure of the graduate programs at SIU, this major has become a broader area of study and more interdisciplinary, including media dissemination across television, radio, the Internet, and related media production.
