Larena Jarvis Memorial Flute Scholarship

The Larena Jarvis Memorial Flute Scholarship was established by Dr. Suzanne Lord to honor the memory of Ms. Larena Jarvis. Ms. Jarvis was a student at SIU for less than one academic year before her death as a result of complications from a blood clot. Dr. Lord was Ms. Jarvis’ flute teacher.

• Scholarship for a summer master class.
• Recipient must be a music major in good academic standing, at the junior, senior, or graduate level.
