John and Marsha Ryan Achievement in English Award

• Scholarship for an advancing first-year student who has declared their intentions to pursue a degree in English.
• Recipient shall be in good academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
• A written letter of recommendation from a faculty member in English is required. The letter must identify the applicant as someone with the potential for excellence in their studies and a demonstrated talent in the study of English.
