Scholarship for a continuing or incoming student, in good standing, who intends to be enrolled at SIU the following semester unless graduating.
The recipient shall articulate or demonstrate an interest in using their education in furtherance of public service or the public good as determined by those making the selection.
Preference will be given to a student with a high school diploma from an accredited school in the following Illinois counties: Alexander, Bond, Calhoun, Clark, Clay, Clinton, Crawford, Cumberland, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jersey, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Massac, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Richland, Saint Clair, Saline, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, and Williamson.
