Herbert and Delores Achenbach Scholarship

The Herbert and Delores Achenbach Scholarship was established to honor Herbert and Delores Achenbach’s devotion to education. Herbert Achenbach received degrees in Zoology and Geology, and Delores received a college degree in English and Spanish. Their constant dedication and devotion to the importance of education can be displayed best through their children. This scholarship is being established to encourage student success in college.

• Scholarship for a junior in good academic standing majoring in science or english.
• Recipient must have demonstrated financial need, as determined by the SIU Financial Aid Office.
