Robert and Patricia Sforza Memorial Scholarship

The Robert and Patricia Sforza Memorial Scholarship Endowment at the SIU School of Accountancy was established in 2010, by their children Christine Sforza, Lee Ann Sforza McKinley and Paul Sforza in memory of their parents who were committed to higher education
in Illinois.

Robert Sforza obtained his Master’s degree and became a science teacher in Belleville, Illinois as a direct result of the generosity of the Harold Prehn Foundation Scholarship he received as valedictorian of his high school class in Springfield, Illinois. Patricia Sforza received her nursing training in Champaign, Illinois, and returned to school to obtain her degree in 1965. All three Sforza children work in the accounting field with Christine and Paul having received their Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting from SIU Carbondale and are CPA’s.
