Dr. William R. and Mrs. Mary Alice Hamilton Scholarship

The Dr. William R. and Mrs. Mary Alice Hamilton Scholarship is awarded to full-time on-campus students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale who are veterans of the U. S. Armed Services.
Service time must be documented by providing a copy of an honorable discharge or separation papers (DD 214-copy 4).
Preference can be given to applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
