Ronald Glenn Thurman, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship

The Ronald Glenn Thurman, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior who is enrolled in one or more of the following departments or programs: Biological Sciences, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Geology, Microbiology, Physics, Physiology, Plant Biology, and Zoology. Recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have achieved at least sophomore standing. Recipient shall also demonstrate financial need.

Preference may be given to student(s) who exhibit an interest in research or teaching in a scientific field. A student who held the Ronald Glenn Thurman Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship in a previous year shall have preference in the selection procedure in subsequent years with all other things being equal.
