Camille Hickman Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Camille Joan Hickman, a 2001 graduate of SIU Carbondale, majoring in Paralegal Studies. Camille Hickman died August 3, 2004, from injuries sustained in a July 2004 car accident.

  • Scholarship for a junior or senior majoring in Paralegal Studies.
  • Recipient must a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and be a current member of the Organization of Paralegal Students.
  • Recipient must have had success in reaching this stage of their education after having overcome some type of substantial personal challenge.
  • Applicants must submit an essay (500 words max) describing the challenge(s) they have overcome.
