Morefield Opportunities Scholarship

Kevin Morefield established the Morefield Opportunities Scholarship to help pay forward the opportunities that he received. He says that his family, the Murphysboro community, Murphysboro High School, and Southern Illinois University provided him with the foundation needed for success in the world and his goal is to clear the financial hurdle from the path to success for other Murphysboro High School graduates.

• Scholarship for an incoming freshman who is a graduate of Murphysboro High School in Murphysboro, Illinois.
• Recipient must demonstrate financial need.
• This scholarship is automatically renewable for three additional years, as long as the recipient maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and continues to demonstrate financial need.
