Mary Wakeland Scholarship

The Mary Wakeland Scholarship is offered by the International Friends Club (IFC) in memory of Mrs. Mary Wakeland, SIU Carbondale’s first foreign student adviser and tireless friend to the international community.

• Scholarship for a full-time continuing international student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service to the campus or community for at least one academic year.
• Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation documenting the required service.
