Trilla Barr Liberal Arts Scholarship

Trilla A. Barr was a 1964 graduate of the College of Liberal Arts with a major in Sociology. Trilla devoted her career to helping others and spent many years working as a social worker and case manager in hospice healthcare care.

The Trilla Barr Liberal Arts Scholarship was established by Dorothea Bilder to honor her dear friend and her life-long commitment to service and caring for others. Dorothea and Trilla were roommates during their time at SIU and remained life-long friends.
