E. Claude Coleman-Plan “A”- James Robert Sanders Scholarship
Scholarship for an English student who has received a grade of B or higher in at least 3 courses in pre-Twentieth Century English literature or has a minimum in-major GPA of 3.0.
The recipient must be a resident of one of the following counties in Illinois at the time of enrollment at Southern Illinois University Carbondale: Alexander, Franklin, Gallatin, Hardin, Hamilton, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Randolph, Richland, Union, Wabash, Washington and Wayne.
Applicants must submit a minimum one-page essay either identifying Professor E. Claude Coleman, his scholarly work, and his intellectual contributions to the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Department of English or discussing the Plan “A” program.
Please list any courses you have taken at SIU in pre-Twentieth Century English literature and the corresponding grades.
If you haven't taken any courses in pre-Twentieth Century English literature, just say none.
To complete your application, you must submit a essay (1 page minimum) either identifying Professor E. Claude Coleman, his scholarly work, and his intellectual contributions to the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Department of English or discussing the Plan “A” program.
