Jeanne Hurley Simon Memorial Library Scholarship

The Jeanne Hurley Simon Memorial Library Endowment recognizes the lifetime commitment to education and the libraries of Jeanne Hurley Simon, who at the time of her death was the Chair of the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science, a presidential appointment.

The Jeanne Hurley Simon Memorial Library Endowment is for the fostering and development of ethnic, racial, cultural, and gender diversity within all libraries.

  • Scholarships for students who aspire to work in libraries or a related field, or who, as student assistants at Morris Library, have provided exemplary service and who make a commitment to continue their involvement with libraries after their graduation as volunteers or in other capacities.
