Application for this scholarship is open to students who are residents of the State of Illinois and who are sophomores or juniors majoring in or of the following areas of study, and to students who are preparing for teaching careers in these areas: Agriculture, Agronomy, Botany, Conservation, Ecology, Environmental studies, Floriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, Nursery Management
