Richard M. Blumenberg Screenwriting Competition

Awarded to an outstanding screen or script writer from the College of Arts & Media.

• In order to apply, candidates must submit one original screenplay for a feature-length, theatrical, narrative motion picture.
• Screenplays must be registered with the Writers Guild of America and must be accompanied by a copy of the WGA registration slip.
• Scripts should be 90-120 pages in length and must be written in standard script format.
• Screenplays should be securely bound between card stock and fastened with brads.
• The author’s name, address, phone number, and WGA registration number must appear at the proper place on the fly page.
• Entrants must submit two copies of their work.
• Any work that does not adhere to the above guidelines will not be eligible for submission.
