Mrs. Kathleen F. and Dr. Peter P. Mykytyn

Mrs. Kathleen F. and Dr. Peter P. Mykytyn established this scholarship to motivate students in the School of Music to compose original works of music. Mrs. Mykytyn has been in classes with these students and she has found them to be talented, motivated, and creative. Kathleen herself studied piano from a very young age and has been fortunate enough to have been in the music schools at Arizona State University and University of Southern California. She has found the students at SIU to be as creative as any she’s seen.
