Ms. Ellen Odom

Ira Edgar Odom was a graduate of New Baden High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Geology at SIUC and a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Geology at University of Illinois. He was a professor of geology and mineralogy at Northern Illinois University from 1964 to 1981. He then became Vice President for Research and Development at American Colloid Company from 1981 to 1994, after which he served as a consultant for industrial mineral companies.
