Tommy Thaviu

Tommy Thaviu designed his scholarship endowment to support students in the Radio-Television Department who plan a career in Radio or Television. It seeks to recognize students who demonstrate a passion and potential for a career in the media industry. Tommy Thaviu attended SIU from 1974-1978. Mr. Thaviu has worked as an editor at several major Chicago post-production facilities. More recently, he has been directing and editing for his own business in Chicago.
