Judge James O. Monroe, Jr., Award

To award law student for excellence in furtherance of the ideals of Judge James O. Monroe, Jr., an annual award based upon standards to be determined by the Dean of the School of Law to worthy students. The award is to be based upon: a) Excellence in writing for law review or related publication. b) A recognition of the ideals and principles which Judge Monroe followed relating to Constitutional Law and Individual Liberties in our society.
